Be a Hero! Give a Child a Voice.
CASA for Douglas County trains, empowers and inspires volunteer advocates to improve the lives of abused and neglected children. More than 1,300 Omaha children are entangled in the foster care system because of abuse and neglect. Volunteers provide an innovative, cost-effective approach to a very urgent crisis.
It is your turn to make a difference in a child's life.
CASA depends on contributions from individuals, organizations, corporations and foundations to exist. Every NEW dollar contributed to CASA for Douglas County will be matched by the Parker Family Foundation.
Children's Holiday Party
Every year, CASA for Douglas County hosts a Holiday Party for the children being served. Oftentimes, this is the only opportunity children get to spend time with their siblings and receive a gift. Your contribution will make this day magical for the kids.
5K Superhero Run for CASA- On July 7, 2018, CASA will host the 8th Annual 5K Superhero Run in an effort to raise awareness about youth in foster care and how CASA is the VOICE for abused and neglected children-using citizen volunteers to advocate for them. This family-friendly event will take place at Midtown Crossing and features a 1K Kids Run, photo booth, and post-race pancake feed at Cantina Laredo.
